ABOUT DEBORAH R. DURHAM

Elder Deborah Durham is a native of Henderson, NC. She is the daughter of the belated Edmond Royster Sr. and Jewel Royster. She knew early on that God had gifted her with something special. She always felt like she was different.​​Elder Durham graduated from North Carolina Central University and later went on to graduate from North Carolina State University. She has two Masters Degrees in Education and Administration. She prides herself in working hard to help serve others. She is a National Board Certified Teacher who is passionate about the education of children. Elder Durham leads with the philosophy that every child can be who they desire to be if they just believe in themselves. She has recently retired but has gone back to work and fills in as an Instructional Coach. She continues to serve as an Elder at Fresh Anointed Tabernacle of Deliverance in Henderson, N.C. Elder Durham serves as the leader of the Greeters Ministry and is a member of the Praise Team. She has previously taken classes at Faith Landmarks Bible College and Hidden Manna School of Biblical Studies. She enjoys reading inspirational works, teaching, and being active in the church. She has published four books; "Hope, Healing and Happiness After Divorce", "Hope In The Midst A Spiritual Journey" (book and journal), "Unlocking Happy Moments" and "Healing Through the Pain". She is a giver at heart and enjoys helping others and hopes that this book will serve as a platform to help the wounded and brokenhearted.​​In August of 2011, she was united in Holy matrimony to James Durham. Together they have six daughters. She continues to keep God first and enjoys every moment with her family and friends.
